BUSY BUSY BUSY

Many people are looking for the truth. Hopefully they don’t turn to bronze statues like these before they find it.

Wow how the weeks are flying by. We have been so very busy. We continue to teach 15 new member lessons each week, two more added this week. It is so great to see these new members grow and progress in the three-month period that we teach them. Many of them are given callings. They begin to fellowship with the Elders and their testimonies continue to grow. We have a couple that are missing. We pray for them and continue to try to contact them. We continue to try and visit our sweet older members. Institute is great. We are almost finished with the Book of Mormon.

We have had FIVE baptisms in the last two weeks. Two Australian girls, one Chinese young woman, a Vietnamese young women and a Chinese young man. The elders do a great job teaching these young people. We are concerned with retention. Retention is the wards responsibility. We continue to find any tools we can to help the wards with this.
We are very excited to be teaching four investigators. Shu has set a baptism date for November 7. She is a registered nurse from China. She is in a one-year program to get her license here. She is very excited about being baptized. Has already combated anti information from friends. Jani continues to progress. She needs a few more weeks to be able to quit her job on Sunday and then three weeks to church. Mena is good but has some concerns. Our new investigator is from Korea. We have just begun to teach her. She says she is not quite sure why she wanted to meet with us, but that some strange feeling kept pushing her to meet. Our first two appointments fell through. After our first meetin ended with her wanting to know more. We have arranged for Julie a Korean member to meet with us. Please pray for them.

Three of the best are returning to their homes this week. We shall miss Elder Gin, Brown and Li. They have been great examples to us of obedience, diligence and great faith. They return with HONOR>

We had a great zone activity this week. We met at a park by the Yarra river and the zone leaders bar-b-qued us a great lunch. Very good hamburgers and chicken skewers. The weather was very nice and we enjoyed our time to relax.
We love what we are doing. We feel the Lord's hand in the work that is going on here. We had a family home evening tonight. It was to say goodby to our great Elders. There were probably 65 plus people there who had in someway or other been touched by these Elders. There were also 15 investigators. We have see how the spirit works to teach the truth. It is an amzing thing to see it actually happen to a person. We are so grateful for this opportunity.
Love you all and pray for you all
