We spent the weekend being spiritually fed. What a great honor it was for us to be a part of the Solomn Assembly, even if it was a week late. We were greatly blessed to have many of our new special friends there to witness this also. Our cute little Jimmy and Annie were brought by their dad. They sat with us while their dad listened in Chinese in the Primary room. We were very aware of President Monsons nervousness on Saturday. When Dean came home from Priesthood session he said to me, President Monson is back. On Sunday we also recognized that the mantel was there. We loved his closing comments with the personal touch. The music was beautiful especially the BYU chorus and then I loved the Choirs rendition of He Sent His Son. I love the Primary songs. I look forward to reading many of the talks again. I was touched by Elder Hales and Elder Uchtdorf. Sister Lant and traditions and Elder Ballard about Mothers were great. Elder Bednar always the missionary. Also it was nice to hear our old friend Gerald Lund. Our sweet Abby who is new to a lot of the feelings of the spirit, told me that she really feels good inside when she listens to the Apostles and wants to do better.I feel the same way.

Our preparation day has been changed to Monday. Last Wednesday we took a drive to the city of Geelong. It is about an hours drive away. It is on the bay. We found a nice pier with restaurant at the end. The area has all been renovated. They have many deco art objects around including different Wooden carvings of lifeguards and a band and many others. It was a very nice relaxing day. I have mentioned Huang Mai before. She is the women whose flat we use for Family Home Evening. She is a conve
rt of about 4 years. She has two children, Steven and Emma. Steven served a mission in New Zealand and is now attending Uni. Emma is 14. They are great people. Huang Mai is now Lisa Huangs visiting teacher. She is doing a great job. We are working together to help this family understand the importance of the Gospel. She offered to teach the kids Mandarin so they can go to church. When asked if we could help her with the cost of the food for Family Home Evening, she just shakes her hand at us and says she is paid by the Lord. Sweet wonderful lady with a very strong testimony of the Gospel. She is a great example to us.
