I don't know how many times I have complained about the traffic on Rosedale Highway or Coffee or Truxton extension. Never again will I complain. Friday we planned on going to a 50th wedding anniversary of good friends of our Bruce and Charlene Byers in Chino. I thought great we will go to the Temple and then head to Chino. We grabbed a quick salad in the Temple cafeteria because the traffic was slow getting to the Temple and couldn't get lunch. Headed out at 5:06. We had 51 miles to go. The problem was it was strait through downtown LA. As we entered the Santa Monica Freeway we were at a standstill. Two and a half hours later we arrived at our destination. I kept thinking just a little further and it will open up. It never opened up until we were about 5 miles from our destination. We had a great time seeing our friends and there great kids all grown up and being grandparents. As I have said before where did that time go. Left Chino at 10:30 arrived home at 1am . Ironically two and a half hours later, about 160 miles. So never again will I complain about Bakersfield traffic.

Everything is relative. At least you had some time for a good companionship inventory.
