We have been blessed with 38 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. They bring us great joy. They are happy, healthy, bright and good. We thank our 8 children and their great spouses for these wonderful young people.

Things to do

We had a great trip up to Utah to see Matthew and family and check out Carries new place. Also became Spiritually fed by attending Education Week. We enjoyed every minute and felt so uplifted. Now back to business. Arrived home to another large envelope from Salt Lake City. Everything we need to do to get a VISA for Australia. We decided that the US needed to take a look at how Australia does It. We needed to be fingerprinted twice, one is rolled the other is scanned. One will go to the FBI for what they called a RAP sheet. The other to the Department of Justice here in California for a back ground check. We did that yesterday. Went to the Sherrifs Departement. Then to get three passport type pictures for three of the forms. Next back to the doctor for another medical form to be filled out and a chest x-ray and HIV test. We decided the call coming for Dec. is because it can take up to 8 weeks to get some of these reports back.
While in Utah Dean visited MR. MAC. and found a suit, so we're getting started. We are still waiting to hear from our Mission President for further instructions about clothes and what to bring. This is so exciting for us, we look forward to going and serving in what ever capacity we can.
Matthew and Leslie have a cute little cart that their pony pulls. Kaitlin gave us a ride. Check out the pictures.
